Silva won the UFC Middleweight title at UFC 64 back in October of 2006 defeating then champion Rich Franklin by TKO. Silva has been successful in his last 3 title defenses. But on July 19th Silva will be a Light Heavyweight competing at 205 lbs. The current UFC titleholder in the 205lb weight classification is Forrest Griffin who is coming off an upset win over Quinton “Rampage” Jackson at UFC 86.

James “The Sandman” Irvin has a professional fight record of 14 wins 4 losses and 1 draw with 10 victories by KO. Irvin is coming off a victory against Houston Alexander at UFC Fight Night 13. The power-punching Sandman tied a record for the fastest knockout ever in the UFC by knocking out his opponent Alexander in just 8 seconds.
