Ricardo Almeida is in his second fight after a 3 ½ year hiatus from the sport. Almeida is a skilled Jiu-Jitsu fighter with a wealth of experience in UFC and internationally while fighting for Pride. At UFC 81 Almeida returned and won in impressive fashion scoring a win by submission over Rob Yundt. Cote is on a three fight UFC winning streak and prior to that he had lost 4 straight UFC fights. The fighters Cote beat during that streak are not the top shelf quality like a Ricardo Almeida. Cote has improved but I believe Almeida will find an opening against Cote and take him to the mat to force the tap out.
