Description

Also protect your hand by looking at your cards like this (DEMO). Some players will try and peek at your hand if you are too careless giving them an advantage over you. I have seen many new players mistakenly expose their hand to neighbors and some ironically like to pick up their cards up in the air in this manner. Always place a chip or chip protector on your cards. When you are in seat 1 or 10 this keeps the dealer from throwing your hand in the muck by mistake. If an opponent folds and their cards touches your cards and it’s unprotected most establishments will force you to fold. For this reason you should always protect your hand even if you are seated in seats 2-9.
