The Nascar Sprint Cup Series moves to the Pocono Raceway for the Pocono 500 on Sunday afternoon. At 2.5 miles the drivers are challenged with exciting high-speed races.
Kyle Busch is the 7-1 favorite. The Las Vegas native has won 3 of his last 5 races and has finished in the Top 5 in 7 of his last 10 races. Busch has qualified in the top 8 or better in 11 of his last 12 races this season. I will try and beat Busch this week and wont have him in my selections. Busch has decided to race in Friday night’s Truck Series Race in Texas and Saturday’s Nationwide series race in Nashville. Three races in three different tracks in three days and flying back and forth to qualify might leave Busch a little tired come Sunday afternoon. I don’t think a driver can be at his best after attempting at being the first driver to race at three different series in 1 weekend at 3 different tracks.
Tony Stewart has 9 Top 5 finishes in his last 18 starts over Supers peedway Tracks. Super speedway’s are tracks over 2.5 miles and extremely fast. Stewart had a heartbreak two weeks back getting a flat tire in the lead with 3 laps remaining at the Coca Cola 600. Jimmie Johnson is sitting with 8 Top 5 finishe
