Andy Pettitte was effective in his last start against Baltimore giving up just 2 earned runs over 6 2/3rd’s innings. The veteran left hander has strung together 3 consecutive solid starts for the pinstripes. Pettitte is not walking batters and has maintained his control. Livian Hernandez has been hit over his last two starts giving up 11 earned runs and 23 hits over 11 1/3rd innings. That’s over 2 base runners for each inning pitched. Teams are batting .330 against the veteran right hander and he gives up tons of baserunners. And Hernandez doesn’t get the strikeout. With the Yankee bats coming around and Pettitte in good form the play here is on the Yankees at –120. Play the NY Yankees at –120.
