The Cubs pitching has been good as opposing batters are only hitting .240 against their staff. 22 year old Sean Gallagher gets the start and is coming off a 1 run 4 hit effort in 6 innings against Pittsburgh in his last start. Gallagher was moved into the rotation as Rich Hill is in the minors working on his command. Shawn Chacon has been hit over his last 4 starts giving up 16 earned runs in 28 innings. Chacon is struggling with control surrendering 10 bases on balls in that span. Chacon has a funky record in Major League Baseball, as he is coming off his 9th straight no decision to start the season. This means that Chacon gets run support. Gallagher had struggled in the bullpen before being moved to the starters role and will be making his first start on the road.....
