As we tape game 1 between Boston and Detroit is just hours from tipoff with the Celtics a 4 ½ point favorite. Boston is coming off an emotional game 7 win and will have to play a Pistons team with more offensive firepower than the Cavaliers. I am taking Detroit and the 4 ½ points in game 1 because I think it’s a good spot for the Pistons here well rested. I most likely will utilize the zig zag theory in game 2 siding with the losing team in game 2. I prefer to use this system deep in the playoffs when the better teams are facing one another. Chauncey Billups told the Detroit Free Press at Sunday’s practice that his strained hamstring is 100% healthy.
