After being eliminated by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Playoffs last season the Pistons are out for redemption. I don’t expect the Pistons to give anything away to the Celtics in this series. This group of Pistons is very motivated to face the Boston Celtics. The length of Tayshawn Prince may be the key to the Pistons series win over the Celtics. Rasheed Wallace should be able to keep Kevin Garnett off the boards and we will see plenty of all away jumpers by KG. The Pistons are 3-2 on the road this season in the playoffs and should steal a game in Boston. Boston hasn’t shown the ability to win a game in Cleveland nor Atlanta so a victory on Detroit’s home court doesn’t seem likely. Boston’s road defense has been pathetic in these playoffs. The Pistons feel they can steal game 1 in Boston and that will lead to a Piston series win in 6.
