The Lakers are on a pointspread run like the run they had right after the Gasol trade. The Lakers shot an incredible 57.4% from the field in game 2. This was against a Jerry Sloan team who was beaten up badly in game 1. After the Lakers had 46 trips to the free throw line in game 1 they had another 43 in game 2 with about 6 in garbage time. But still the free throw discrepancy has been impressive. The Lakers are a faster team than Utah and the Jazz are simply fouling to prevent easy hoops. In game 3 and 4 at home to Houston the Jazz did not run away from the Rockets. Houston won game 3 at Utah and lost by 4 in game 4 covering both games. As great as the Jazz have been at home during the regular series they were not dominating in the middle games of the Houston playoff series in their building. After winning both games at Houston the Jazz should have closed the door at home and they didn't and the series went 6 games. Look I respect Utah but I am not stepping in front of this Laker team.
