As we tape game 3 is just hours from tipoff in Utah between the Jazz and Lakers. The Lakers won both games at home by double digits against the Jazz using their team speed, passing and hot shooting to win by margin. Heading into Game 3 the Lakers are 6-0 straight up and 6-0 ATS in the playoffs. Carlos Boozer's struggles in the playoffs continued as the talented big man went 3-10 from the field and had only 5 boards in game 2 in LA. Boozer will be expected to pick it up when the series moves to Utah's home court. The Jazz are fouling to prevent scoring from the Lakers and coach Jerry Sloan is not happy that the Lakers got to the line 89 times in two games. Sloan is not blaming the refs but his team who are having trouble with the Lakers speed. Kobe wants to keep the tempo fast at Salt Lake and set up their offense early against the Jazz for good looks at the basket.
