Looks like a great pitching matchup Tuesday night in fenway if Dice K can make his schedule start. Matsuzaka missed his last start with the flu as a flu epidemic struck the Red Sox clubhouse. Dice K was kept in Boston while the Red Sox were in Tampa Bay to get his ready for this start. With Dice K and Josh Beckett missing their schedule starts last week it has really taxed the bullpen as the Red Sox starting pitching just cant seem to get very deep in ball games. It would be nice if we got a 7 or 8 inning performance from a Red Sox starter anytime soon. Dice K is having a fine year at 4-0 on the season and teams are only batting .182 against the right hander. Halladay hasn't been the dominant pitcher we have seen in recent years but still has a respectable 3.73 ERA this season. But Halladay goes deep in games as he has averaged 8 innings pitched in his last 4 starts and the Red Sox need Dice K to go deep here as well. Matsuzaka with plenty of rest between starts could give the Red Sox innings here and under 9 ½ runs is the rock solid nuts here.
