It was an impressive week last week for the Celtics as they sweep the Texas teams on their last road trip winning their first 4 games in their road trip. In their last meeting with Philadelphia the Celtics held the 76’ers to 31% shooting from the field in their 14 point victory. The only thing the Celtics will have to face is a letdown after this trip as they return home after 1 day’s rest from their 5 game road trip. After the Celtics west coast trip the Celtics failed to cover against Cleveland in their first home game back as they committed 20 turnovers and lost the rebounding battle to the Cavs. Philadelphia is playing excellent basketball as heading into Friday’s action they got their record to .500 by winning 8 of their last 9 games. I like Philadelphia to be competitive and to bring energy here as Evans and Dalembert will bring energy and effective work on the boards for the Sixers here. I don’t like playing big favorites right back after a lengthy road trip. Bad spot for the Celtics here and Philadelphia stays within single digits. Take Philadelphia +13
