GamblersTelevision.comIt should be an entertaining game at Staples center as the NBA’s top 4 scoring teams meet on Sunday night. The Lakers recovered well after dropping their first two games on their road trip to New Orleans and Houston while beating Dallas and winning at Utah the leagues best home team. Phil Jackson hinted after the Utah victory that Pau Gasol may be out at least until after the Charlotte game next Wednesday making it unlikely that Gasol would play in this track meet with Golden St. With 15 games left the Warriors are in a battle to make the playoffs as heading into Friday’s action were 3 games ahead of Denver in the loss column for the 8th spot. The Lakers defense will be challenged in this game as Derek Fisher will have to contain the younger guards of the Warriors and this is their first meeting since losing Andrew Bynum to injury. Luke Walton is also a concern defensively for the Lakers when he is on the court and the Warriors fast paced style without Bynum, Gasol and Ariza in the middle will allow Golden St to remain competitive in this game. 7 points is a lot to lay with the Lakers against this team and taking the 7 is the right side here. Stephen Jackson, Baron Davis and Monta Ellis will keep Golden St in this game. Take Golden St +7.
Selection: Golden St +7
