GamblersTelevision.comStanford will come with focus; I mean a lot of focus after getting the life pounded out of them in last year’s first round NCAA game against Lousiville. Stanford came out flat and was never in the game in a total embarrassment for the Cardinal and Lopez twins. Stanford is a difficult team to score upon with the Lopez twins in the middle. Brook Lopez plays with much more aggression this season and is slated as a possible NBA lottery pick so a good showing in the NCAA Tournament could yield a Top 5 pick in the draft. Robin has improved his play in the final two months of the season scoring in double digits in 9 of his last 12 games in Pac 10 play. Cornell is a good story winning every game in conference play but was beaten by double digits against Duke, Ohio, Bucknell and Syracuse in the non-conference. A “well focused” Stanford gets it done and gets the money for its backers. Take Stanford –14.5.
